EduLink - Bridging COVID-19 Learning Gaps: EduLink, NEF's targeted initiative, addresses the unique challenges faced by students in slum areas and low-income communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this program, NEF curated remediation programs in foundational courses, utilizing digital platforms like WhatsApp and Zoom. The initiative connects students with dedicated teachers, providing tailored support and ensuring continued education despite limited access to technology and resources. NEF collaborated with local educators, community leaders, and students to understand specific needs, fostering a virtual network for personalized learning. Virtual workshops and training sessions equipped both students and educators with essential skills, promoting a sense of community and support among first-generation learners.

Mathematics Remediation Classes: NEF's Mathematics Remediation Classes aim to strengthen fundamental mathematical concepts, crucial for later grades and various competitive examinations. The program includes needs assessment, individualized learning plans, and tailored learning materials. Regular progress monitoring and feedback, collaboration with schools, and comprehensive teacher training enhance the effectiveness of this initiative. By addressing gaps in mathematical knowledge and conceptual understanding, NEF creates a bridge between informal and formal education, increasing school attendance, self-study habits, and proficiency in mathematics.

Spoken English Classes: NEF's Spoken English program focuses on enhancing language proficiency and job-focused skills. The integrated curriculum combines spoken English classes with educational support, ensuring students simultaneously improve language skills and academic capabilities. Tailored language training modules, industry-relevant content, and communication practice exercises empower students with a comprehensive skill set. With 85 students enrolled in community centers and 220 in schools, this program not only enhances educational pursuits but also improves job prospects, providing students with practical communication skills for real-world scenarios.
